Shipping costs

Shipping costs are shown at checkout and depend on the delivery country, product and composition of the order. Our Murano lighting is fragile and many fixtures are packed and shipped separately. Shipping may therefore be calculated per item, and several items in the same order may arrive in separate parcels or shipments.

Production and delivery times

Many of our lights are made or completed to order. The current estimated production and delivery time is shown on the product page, at checkout or in the order confirmation, or communicated separately for project and bespoke orders. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, stated delivery times are estimates.

If a delivery becomes materially delayed, we will contact you when we become aware of the delay. Any mandatory rights you have in relation to delayed delivery are not limited by this policy.

Carriers and tracking

We use shipping services suitable for fragile goods and use trackable and insured shipping where such services are available. Where tracking information is available, it will be sent when the shipment is booked or has left the sender.

Customs, VAT and import charges

Taxes and charges collected by us are shown at checkout based on the selected market and delivery address. For shipments where customs duties, import VAT or other import charges are not collected by us at checkout, such charges may be billed to the recipient by the carrier or customs authority. The customer is responsible for such charges to the extent provided by applicable law and the information supplied before purchase.

Transport damage

Please inspect the shipment as soon as possible after delivery. If the carton or product is damaged, photograph the outer packaging, labels, inner packaging and damaged part and contact ciao@theitalianedition.se. Keep the packaging until the matter has been investigated. Prompt notice helps us handle a transport claim and does not limit a consumer's statutory rights relating to faulty goods.

Incorrect address, missed delivery and redelivery

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery and contact details. If a shipment is returned or redelivery is required because of incorrect details, refused delivery or failure to receive the shipment, we may, where permitted by law, charge the actual additional costs incurred.

Availability

If a product cannot be supplied despite the stock or supplier information available to us, we will contact you to offer an appropriate solution, such as a revised estimated delivery time, an alternative or a refund, depending on the circumstances and your statutory rights.
