GENERAL QUESTIONS

How long is the delivery time?
We aim to deliver all lamps within approximately 7–10 business days. However, depending on stock availability or whether your lamp is made to order, the delivery time is usually between 1–3 weeks.

How are the lamps delivered?
We ship all lamps directly to your door using FedEx or DHL, from either our warehouse in Stockholm, Sweden or Northern Italy. Each lamp is securely packaged with bubble wrap and protective foam to ensure safe delivery.

How are the Murano lamps made?
Our lamps are newly produced, unless otherwise stated. Each glass piece is handmade by experienced glass masters in and around Murano, Italy. All glass is quality-checked before being shipped to you.

Can I view the lamps in person?
Yes! We have a showroom in central Stockholm where you can book a private viewing. We showcase a wide range of models, glass samples, and colors.

Can I design my own lamp?
Absolutely. Many of our lamps can be custom-designed. You can choose from different frames, glass shapes, colors, and even mixed combinations. Email us your request and we’ll guide you through the design and pricing process: ciao@theitalianedition.se

How should ceiling lamps be installed?
Always ensure the ceiling hook can support the full weight of the lamp. A heavier-duty hook may need to be installed. We highly recommend using a licensed electrician for safe and proper installation.


SHIPPING & CUSTOMS – EUROPE & USA

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide – including all of Europe and the United States.

How much is shipping?
Shipping is included within the EU. For destinations outside the EU, such as the USA, shipping is calculated at checkout based on location and size of the order. Feel free to contact us for a precise quote.

Do I have to pay customs duties or taxes if I order from the USA?
Yes, U.S. customers may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. These fees vary depending on the total value and category of the goods. They are typically collected by the shipping provider upon delivery.
We ship using FedEx or DHL Express, and you will receive a tracking number once your order has been dispatched.

Can I prepay duties and taxes at checkout?
Currently, we do not offer DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) for U.S. orders. Duties and taxes will be handled by the courier, and the buyer is responsible for these costs. However, we can assist you in estimating potential fees in advance—just email us.

Where are your lamps shipped from?
Depending on the model and availability, your order will ship from either our warehouse in Stockholm or directly from our Italian workshop and warehouse in Veneto.

How are fragile items like Murano glass packaged?
All glass parts are individually wrapped and securely packed in foam for protection. We also include extra glass pieces in every shipment, which can be kept as backup or used for display/sample purposes.

What if an item is damaged during shipping?
Please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and packaging. We will assist you immediately to replace any damaged parts or resolve the issue.
