About us

The Italian Edition is a Stockholm-based design studio and destination specialising in handcrafted Murano lighting and carefully curated Italian design. Founded by interior designer Johanna Bazzoli after several years living in Italy, the studio grew from a desire to bring together objects defined by strong form, genuine craftsmanship and lasting quality.

We work closely with glassmakers, small workshops and producers across Italy. Through personal relationships with our makers, we are able to offer a carefully considered collection in which material, proportion and craftsmanship remain central. Many of our lighting designs can also be customised in size, glass, colour and configuration to suit a particular interior or project.

Our clients are based in Sweden and internationally and include private clients, interior designers, architects and hospitality projects. Whether you are selecting a single piece or specifying lighting for a larger project, we are happy to advise on scale, placement, bespoke requests and the most suitable configuration.

For us, good design is about more than appearance. We believe in objects made to last, craftsmanship that retains the trace of the hand that created it, and personal service from the first enquiry through to delivery.

Stockholm Showroom

Our Stockholm showroom is currently undergoing renovation and is therefore not operating regular opening hours. A limited number of private visits may be possible by prior arrangement. Please contact us by email before visiting and we will confirm current availability.
